Good job Gamedog,

The photos really helped tell you story, good job on the photo placement within the story. I actually felt like I just got to go back to Alaska, except my feet feel much better this time.

Nice pics and story. Those pics are classic Alaska terrain along an ocean front stream. Looks very similar to several differnt rivers I've hiked up during spring breakup in the past. Thanks for taking the time to share and congrats on a great bear.

Re: I survived my Alaska Bear Hunt Trip

Great story and wonderful pics. Pics can really make a story SO MUCH MORE interesting. Reminds me of my Grizzly hunt Sept 2008 where I ended up shooting a 62" bull moose @ 15 yds with my Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt.

I'll bet you buddy has nightmares about not taking that long shot when the opportunity was available.

Gamedog, where did you hunt? I just got back from Prince Of Wales and Kuiu islands. Looks like beautiful country. Can't wait to go back in November and hunt blacktails.

Boys , bloody well done from Australia where the only thing that wont bite you is a Bear , this story and images were fantastic to read and view , I could only imagine how wonderful it would be to be in your place there and live that experience..........all power to you for doing what I know would have been a lot of work to organise and bring to life.
Thank you for sharing I loved it.
