Only limited experience, but the six hogs I've shot with them so far were between 400 and 900lbs.

Performance on target very similar to Nosler Partition, but with much, much better long range accuracy.

Complete pass through on the four and five hundred lbs hogs, shoulder to shoulder, jello inside of chest cavity. None took a step.
On the 800-900lbs hogs pass through shoulder rib cage, turned everything inside into red jello and buried in opposite muscke between ribs and shoulder. Both hit ground, kicked a few times and expired.

Outstanding overall performance with limited use so far.

Coyotes popped like prairie dogs hit in mid section at 300-600yds (4 total so far).

    Wild Rose,
Was unaware that Hornady made a 150gr GMX? Is that a new offering that's not on their website? Or are you referring to the 139gr GMX?

You are correct. Tired typing. Too many loads running round in my head for that time of morning.

My GMX's are loaded at 3430fps. My interbond loads are 154gr's at 3325fps.

More pass through's with the interbond.

On large, more dangerous species I really prefer keeping all of the energy within the body cavity if possible. I've had some of the interbond loads hit hogs facing me stright on right in the throat pass all the way through the body cavity and exit the rear.

Makes a hell of a mess when they pass through the gut like that.

Shot a 225lb California blacktail Deer this year with a 165gr gmx out of a 300rum goin about 3400fps at just over 225 yards, took him high in the ribs quartering away, destroyed about 5inches of spine, didnt take a step, just went end over end down the hill about 25 yards. Absolutely devistating performance. no fragments recovered so im assuming it held together.

Dang, I was hoping that you were privvy to a new weight they were offering. Thanks for the clarification, and it's good to hear about the interbonds having great weight retention too. Like the OP, I've been intrigued by the GMX, but am wondering if they're harder than the Barnes TSX, TTSX, etc...hopefully we'll see some more positive responses about their performance on game.

Sidebar...is anyone noticing differences in group size between interbonds and GMXs?
