Help

Trying to get into ELR. Would like to shoot competition. Needs advice on which gun, caliber, round, powder, scope, stock, what competitions to go to and etc. All advice welcomed. Thanks! Contact at 785-236-0280, comment on this or email me.

You'll get some good advice here but I suggest try this question on accurateshooter.com. What type of competition do you want to get in to? Palma, f-class, bench, 3 gun? Need to narrow it down for us.

Currently ill just be doing bench or just lond distance rifle. Down the line 3-gun.

Then any of the Mod12 Savage target rifles will fit the bill. I am a Savage fan, but I would suggest others if other companies offered something similar. Savage is the only company that I know of, that their competition team uses and wins with factory rifles. The target rifle you get, is the same thing they use to compete. They have made a quite a name for themselves in the shooting community. Check'em out.
