Harris Bipod for Sitting and Prone?

I am looking to get a Harris bipod (a swivel model) and I would like to use it for both shooting from the prone and also sitting position. Is this possible? I am new to bipods and would like to get one that can do double duty.
I am 5ft 8 and 165 lbs...

The 12-25 in Harris bipod is the one that I have been considering, but I am not sure if this will be too high for the prone position? or even possibly not high enough for sitting?

Does anyone know if this height range is good for both positions, thanks

I usually have either the short one or the long one on my gun and the other in my daypack. You never know what situation you will be in.

I mostly seem to have the wrong bipod along. For the summer until November the 12-25 is better than the 9-13 because of the grass height. Just OK for sitting, just OK for prone but difficult to fit something under the butt because it can be quite high.

Pretty well feel exactly the same way about the bipods, it might be an idea for you to get a set that are comfortable to shoot with while sitting, and use a pack for prone.

That is what I think I will end up doing. Does anyone know what would be a good size bipod to get primarily for the sitting position...5-8 160lbs?
thanks for your input

If I had to choose one size for all hunting, I think I'd go for the 12-25".
I often sit on a downhill slope to shoot across a valley, then the 25" are too short again for sitting. In that case I go sideways prone, with the 9-13" I would be snookered. Maybe the 25 is the most versatile in rough terrain but a bit heavy.

I like to get on the dirt as much as possible so I put a bipod suitable for prone on the rifle. If i HAVE to shoot sitting, i carry shooting sticks and a tripod. (gun rest on the tripod, shooting sticks under butt of rifle)
