Been out of pocket, tied up with a 190 inch nontypical I killed this past Saturday here in Mississippi (pics below). Just got back to this thread...
The first buck looks like a 140 because he's a genetic freak- TINY body. When he came out, I honestly thought he had an 18 inch spread as he's and inch past both ears. When I got up to him, I realized he's just a tiny deer all around, only weighed around 130 lbs, despite being 3 1/2 yrs old. We killed 2 does the same day bigger than him!
Thanks for the advice about Re25... I had heard it was temp sensitive, but I pray I'll never have to hunt in temps above 75 degrees during rifle season. My load development is around 55 degrees, and honestly, I had no pressure signs on the case or primer with the loads. I steered away from h-1000 because I had heard it was so corrosive.

17 1/4 inch inside spread, 22 scorable points; 7 inch base on the right side. Killed him with my encore muzzleloader at 70 yards.
