Sorry for not answering earlier - away on business. I had already taken the .260 barrel off and re-installed the original 7mm-08 barrel on the rifle, prior to leaving.

I will try the same experiment with this barrel, using a load of 40.5 grains of Varget behind Sierra 168 gr. MKs, in Winchester brass. Primers are Federal 210M. I hope to be able to do this in the near future and will share results.
