Anschutz is #1 and has been for forever. I happen to favor the good ol' Ruger model-77/22 for an affordable accurate bolt action 22 tho. Plenty buildable. Not quite as buildable as a 10/22 semi auto as far as aftermarket bolt on parts go, but buildable none the less with aftermarket parts.

CZ Lux in a .22 WMR is about the best made 22 I ever seen and it has a 24" bbl.

One day, if I ever find a job again...
