Well, after reading this forum I'm going to finally take the plunge and start learning how to reload my own ammo. What would you consider great loading book's available for long range and accurate loading? I realize equipment is a subjective thing but I'd like your adivce what you would buy if you had to do it again for the first time. I'm experienced with golf equipment and I know a thousand dollar driver is over kill but good equipment is expensive and want to start out with the good stuff.
I'm looking at the RCBSChargeMaster
1500 Combo scale and powder dispenser for starters. What's your experience with this equipment?
What brass would you suggest? I stopped at Cabelas and they had the Remington
and Winchester with a wide differences in prices ?
I'm building a a Rem 7mm
Mag and with the advice of this forum going with the 168 Berger VLD
. Any other advice on what other accuracies loads and bullets work great for this caliber word be grateful.
How does one find the correct bullet seating depth for a custom action, is there some special inherit deepth to each rifle or a standard depth.
I'm excited to see what works for me..........thanks for your advice.
