Is there anything to keep it from falling off the back of the stock as you walk around? Could a loop, elastic or otherwise, be added to attach around the rear sling stud just in case?

Just thinking out loud.

Actually, the elastic holds it really well as you have to stretch it to put it on plus the forward slope of the stock keeps it from sliding backwards. I thought about putting it over the swivel stud but it seems that the measurement on those varies from gun to gun--i asked that question here on the forum.
