Deer North of I90 in Idaho

I have a buddy that is planning to hunt for Whitetail in North Idaho in late November. He is looking at the Bonner Ferry area, Units 1,2,3,4....but is not sure of what areas would be good as an 8 hour scouting trip can't happen, we are looking for some info on the best area.
