Condor killer

Does anyone on here have a long range rifle set up for non- lead ammo? If all of california is going to be a lead free zone in 5 years I better get started building a non lead rig. It looks like the Nosler E-Tip has a high BC and is coated to reduce copper fouling, anyone try these out?

I've been thinking the same thing. Barnes Has the LRX, but the BC's leave a little to be desired. Also might look at cutting edge bullets, I think they are solid copper as well?

The cutting edge bullets are gorgeous little jewels. There are two drawbacks of them IN MY OPINION, 1. the sd can be a little low as they are LOOOOONG for weight so they need to be driven fast with the proper twist. 2. Spendy little buggers!!!
    I do like em though!!!

Man they are spendy! Do you know what the proper barrel twist would be? 1:11?

    I'm working on a few . 257 WBY likes 100gsn TSX loaded with 67 grns of AA3100
The 30-06 didn't like E-Tip factory loads. I've just loaded a few 150grn GMX with 57grns of AA4350. I'm not in a speed race but both are shooting well. I will work on getting more info as I shoot more. I would like to find a nice combo load for the 22-250 , yote/hog round. A bullet that would cover both and shoot true. Hope this helps . Anyone that has already found the Holy Grail in CA on bullet selection please chime in. I did have a great thing with 55grn PSPs so of course the had to make a law against it.

TTSX are working for me and my buddy. I HBN coat them.

He didn't like TSX, E-Tips or GMX for LR. I never bothered to try them.

My only 300 yard was a TSX. Nothing farther for me. Buddy has gone to 1000 with hust 300RUM and 180TTSX
