Some areas are "Wilderness area" so no trucks, not atvs, no pedal bikes, no 2 wheeled carts, no atv oversized golf-cart things, no rollerskates.

Walking and horses only

Note: This is just an example to get you started. You should form your own list based on your needs.
Wet weather and cold weather gear, lots and lots of socks and at least a half dozen pairs of gloves of differing weights. You also need at least two-three sets of boots for the same reason. If you are backpacking it in and the weather turns cold and wet, cold/wet feet can get you killed.

Also good first aid gear with a focus on blisters. Break your boots in WELL at least a month before going and you need to plan several weekend hiking trips at least bi-weekly to get yourself prepared. Unfortunately nothing will prepare you for the 8,000 plus ft difference in altitude.

That way you can dry your soaked socks and gloves and still have some to wear.

Woodland digital breakup is a good camouflage.

I'd also list renting at least one or two pack horses/mules. To be properly equipped for every contingency you need several hundred pounds of gear as well as a means to pack out your kill.

EDTA: Pack everything you don't want soaking wet in Heavy duty trash bags.

You do not need to haul wood from Nova Scotia to Denmark. There is wood in Colorado

You sure want to take deodorant because the elk will definitely run off if you don't smell like a Irish whorehouse.

With four bottles of propane you will be arrested by the TSA for trying to blow up every bridge and tunnel you come to.

Actually the only DO I'd recommend is arm and hammer banking soada mixed with some non scented talcum powder.

    Use it like body powder.

It is also very helpful to soak your clothes in a water/AHBS solution and line/air dry them before packing them for the trip.
