Colorado and CWD

So what's the scoop on CWD in Colorado around the Denver area?

Is it just deer or do elk get it too?

Re: Colorado and CWD

Elk get it to.

If concerned in the unit you hunt, get them checked for the $15.00 fee.

I hunt Colorado to.

Re: Colorado and CWD

Both Deer and Elk get CWD. Antelope are from a different line and so far do not get it.
In the "Denver area", there have been a couple of cases found around Boulder, but otherwise none reported. Further north along the front range quite a few cases.

My opinion is that it is overblown and over-reacted to, but feel free to formulate your own.
