Big Shout Out To Deadly Precision Gunsmithing and Lorenzo Young

Just wanted to let everyone know that if your looking for a gunsmith that has A#1 workmanship and customer service check out Deadly Precision Gunsmithing he is a sponsor here if you didn't already know.

I recently had a few issues with a savage 110 fcp 338 lapua and after weighing my options decided to send it over to Lorenzo to have him work his magic on it which included installing a 30" 9.5 twist stainless fluted select match grade brux tube, truing the action, bedding the stock, and installing a badger ordanance fte break.

Lorenzo called me about the time the rifle was finished and recommended going with black cerecote in the flutes of the barrell to kind of set it off and man did it work absolutley beautiful..

Due to fire restrictions and being at the dentist more than work (four root canals and a wisdom tooth extracted this week) i haven't got as much time behind the trigger as I would like, but I have had enough to do some prelim load work and all I can say is WOW this thing is a shooter.

I have forever asked myself if a custom gun was really worth it as I have several semi-customs that shoot extremly well....and Lorenzo proved to me that a custom even though the stock is a hs and the action and trigger is a savage is well worth the price...

Well enough talk already i suppose you would like to see it...been trying to get a new pic of it all outfitted with the nightforce and triad cheek piece, but haven't got a picture near as good as this one and it doesn't do the rifle justice.

If you have been sitting on the fence thinking about having a rifle built or some work done on one you already own I couldn't recommend lorenzo enough better hurry though I'm placing another order in for a full custom soon as the wifes not looking

Nice looking rig but I'm thinking it would shoot better with a trigger installed too!

LOL we trust ya man. Nice looking stick.

Maybe with it being summer it's time to start a new "gun porn" thread... I just finished a project so I may take some pictures and start it myself... .

Sounds though like you really got exactly what you were hoping for in this one and couldn't have found a better man to do the job.

Too be honest Grit would probably be embarrassed by this thread he isn't the kind of guy to brag, but I'll do it for him... It is really easy to tell when you have someone that cares about what they are doing and goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. I don't post very often just mostly read the threads , but felt like the man deserved the props from a very happy customer.

I have been talking to Larenzo for a while now and finally sent him an action, barrel, and a stock. He is great to talk to and work with. He has also helped out with a few decisions on the build. I will probably be sending him quite a few more builds in the future...
