Great idea? That's the setup that John Burns was using on the show, the only thing Aaron Davidson did different is to have someone build an entire scope based on that where John Burns would modify Leupold scopes. Just like he does today.

I would like to give Aaron some credit but John Burns was using the same setup before Aaron came out with the Huskemaw, so IMO all Aaron Davidson did was take Johns idea and mass produce it!

X3M, Well in all honesty the bdc turret and reticles with windage hold marks have been around longer than the BOTW so I guess they are both copying someone elses work, not like thats unheard of in the industry. Every major optics manf. is offering a long range reticle of one form or another. They are all based on the same principal balistic compensation. So by defalt everyones tweaking the same principal and marketing a product.

Choices are good we should be happy we have so many items to choose from.

Too bad we don't have such choices in politics.

Re: BEST of THE WEST?? REALLY THE BEST?

I was once climbing a mountain trail hoping to come around the bend and surprise a mule deer feeding along the green ribbon...a darn horseback pack string came along and near ruined my day. Luckily the pack string took a fork in the trail and I was finally able to resume my hunt ... that is until a darn man and his son came roaring down the trail on their four wheelers. They stopped to talk and were complaining that those darn dirt bikers skinny motorcycle tires were digging ruts in the trails that caused more eroision than their four wheelers. I started to ask if maybe using those fat tires like on four wheel drive jeeps might be easier on the outdoors BUTT then I remembered, I remembered that the Greenies want to get all of us out of the woods and leave Nature for the animals to live in utopia.
Thank you John Burns, Aaron, Mike, John Porter,Jeremy and Mr. Click-it for all being not tree huggers but outdoorsmen. Now that is a group, "Outdoorsmen" that truly should be a BIG TENT party !
Thanks also to you veterans , for your service.
PS Is CNN really the best or is that an acronym for the commie news network ? Not the Manchurian but the Kenyian candidate !

GoodGrouper, I share some of the same opinions of the outdoor TV shows.
