Barrel Twist Rates

Hello guys. I been doing some reading on barrel twist rates and I understand the gist of it I think. Let's say 22-250, the normal 1 in 12 twist rate is good for 50-60g bullet weights, but a 75-80g bullet won't stabilize in that barrel. The heavier bullets need a tighter twist rates. Say I've got my 22-250, 1 in 8 twist shooting 80g bullets perfectly. How would a 35g bullet react in that barrel? 50-60g ?

Re: Barrel Twist Rates

A 35 gr bullet pushed at the speeds of a 22-250 with such a fast twist could create enough rpm's on the bullet construction to tear it apart once it exists the barrel.

Re: Barrel Twist Rates

Thanks that's the kind of answer I was looking for. What about the 50-60g bullets? Could they be used through a fast twist barrel accurately?
