Congrats, and I think its great that you wife goes with ya. Also was this a guided hunt or a do it yourself hunt? Again good huntin.

This was a do-it-yourself hunt. I was there with a friend and his extended family hunting in the Rio Grande National Forest. This is my third trip to Colorado for elk, first time was guided and the other two were do-it-yourself (DITY).

I didn't spend the entire 2.3 billion on fuel, there was a station in MO or KS selling fuel for $2.29/gal (I thought about buying a toy swimmingpool and filling it up for spare)!!
