You can get the wssm's in AR15 platform.

If youw want one of the wssm's go with that, its your money. As far as being barrel burner, its all in how you take care of the rifle. Don't over heat it. Barrels are cheap and you can replace them your self on a AR. I have a 6.5 grendal that shoots .5 MOA pretty consistant, closing on 2000 rounds.

I have a 25 wssm in a m70 Coyote, it is not a barrel burner. It is not quite as fast as my 25-06. One thing about the wssm, the brass has been harder to come by at times.

I have three (3) 6.5 Grendles and they are hard to beat for long range "touching."

I have been shooting a Whtley 6mmAR that is based on a necked down 6.5 Grendle. Also deadly for long range, high accuracy work , particularly with the Bergrr VLD designs.

    Who makes one?

I have not seen any AR15 with a magnum boltface, Just a standard bolt face (.473 ) and down.

    Thanks

Dtech makes one. There upper is acually a little beefier. I feel they make the best one but Olimpic arms also makes them.
