Anyone own this Tripod?

I'm thinking of buying a new tripod and this one caught my eye as a mid-level light weight packable tripod.

SIRUI Light Weight Tripod (T-1004X) With SIRUI Pro Ball Head (G-10)

Anyone have any experience with this unit or any made by this manufacturer? Total cost is about 225$ and I don't really want to spend much more than that until I upgrade my optics. Any input will be helpful.

i don't have that one, but i do have a SLIK pro613cf, and a jim white head. love it for a lightweight packing tripod.

don't know anything about the head you are looking at, but i've been happy with the tripod brand.

    good luck

You can look in the Gear Shop. There are two good tripods there.
