antelope hunt

antelope hunt

I shoot a doe last week with a 2506 and was surprised how much damage it did on the exit

    Sounds like you did well then.

    I've noticed that none of the game I shot that fell dead worried nearly as much about the load or caliber as we do here though HA!

    Many years ago I carried a 25-06 Ruger #1 as my "Antelope Gun" and had very similar results shooting 120gr hornady's.

    Out to about 500-600yds it's a good caliber on deer sized game.

    The only problem is that there's a short selection of good High BC 25 cal bullets.
