24" +brake=26ish Heavy varmint contour .87 at the muzzle The short barrel really does not give up much compared to the 30" normally found on the edge and can still run the 300 grainers in the mid 2800s with hot loads but I run a mild load at 2730 to save the brass for the long haul.

Re: Actual LR Rifle Weight

And the winner is........?

Savage 11-111 LRH .338 Lapua...
13 pounds exactly on my postal scale...
6 rounds loaded, 5 in the mag, one in the chamber...
Karsten Cheek / snot stock...
28" barrel length including brake (fixed)...
Harris 2 axis bi-pod...
Vortex Viper PST 4.5 x 16 SFP (great scope IMO)...
Warne Maxima Steel rings (it was already heavy so might as well have steel)...
Vortex bubble level (cheaper than a Holland, just as good)...
Uncle Mike's nylon sling (it needs a pad)...

I need a lackey to haul this tank around..........

I guess without ammo, would make a dandy club.....

With ammo, makes a dandy killing machine..........

I never should have weighed it. Makes me feel tired now.
