7mm STW clip needed
I have a rem 700 BDL SS in a 7mm STW and I have the original clip. I would really like to have a spare one but they seem to be hard to find. I checked Brownells and midway and was un-able to find one in 7mm stw.
Anybody out there know where I could find one?
This perticular model is the gun made from 1997-2001 only. It has the design engraved into the action and a factory muzzlebreak on it.
Any help would be great guys!

Re: 7mm STW clip needed
Ron,
The remington detachable clip in a 7mm or 300 mag will handle the 7mm stw shells? I guess I never thought about that. If this is true, that would be a great fix to my problem. Thanks!
Also, How do you like your rifle? This gun is new to me but I like it so far. The gun is light enough for me to pack it around the mountains here in WA and with the break on it, doesn't beat my shoulder up either. Great potential for sure!

Yes, it takes the standard magnum clip.
I love my factory STW. I have only shot factory ammo out of it, but have had very good results. For the first few years I only shot the Remington Core-Lokt 140 grain. Took several deer with them, from 7 yards to 350 yards. Proper aim point, pull trigger, and deer falls over. At the range I was getting as small as .75", but averaged around 1.25". Have some hunting buddies that reload and get .75" all day long at 100 yards. With the remington ammo was getting around 3" at 300 yards, averaged around 4". The guys were getting around 2.5" at 300 yards.
