I also use te 180g in a 300 wby, 7mm wsm, 7x57A.I. and they work well taken a couple record book black bear on Vancouver Island as well as white tail and mulies and have not had massive damage unless you hit big bone.

You peaked my interest. Which bullet are you talking about? Sirocco? What ranges?

sirocco 11 at ranges form 75 yards to 465 so far.

Interesting.

They did well for me from the .260 even at under 100yds on deer in an interesting way. The recovered bullets seemed to still be in tact but were virtually flattened and the diameter of a quarter give/take.

Big hog at long range, excellent.

Bobcat with the 300 Rum 180's at just under 1,100, perfect.

Deer excellent for me from 300-1030 with complete pass throughs and great expansion but no explosion.

Coyotes under 300 yards with the STW erupted, the 300 Rum not so much.

Thanks though it's good to swap info with someone else who's shot them enough to evaluate.
