Jeff! here are some pics of stix! all legs are on a hinge,
The 2 legs that are next to the trigger are a little shorter (when folded forward) so you can use them as a bypod.
the 5th leg never needs adjusting for most ground but is nice to extend it for steep hills
My brothers stix he just holds the 5th leg against one of the front stix and that works good to.
The stix are not that good for animals that are on the move,
But for animals that are walking and milling around you can't beat it (other than bench rest) But when you get your gun in both v's and 5th leg in the ground you can see where the movement is next to nothing Hope this helps.
