Re: 7mm Remington Ultra Mag
Ok,
Brownells bedding kit setting up as we speak.
3 coats of release agent to aid in getting it back apart.
If this doesn't help a hs precision will be on the way. Stockys has them for 299 right now
I am an Accubond fanatic, but the high bc's of the Berger's have drawn me like a moth to a flame. So I think I'm gonna have to scratch that itch while the stock is setting up
Thank you all for keeping this thread clean and progressive.
Update tomorrow on how the stock turned out

Re: 7mm Remington Ultra Mag
Kirby,
Sorry to bother you more but I was curious; Should I not even go with the US-869 and skip it altogether, or is it worth a try with the AB 160's?
Specs: 7Rum 26" ss m700 Fed 215 r-p cases
And thanks for all your wisdom and advice which has been of great help!

Re: 7mm Remington Ultra Mag
Ok
Bedding job turned out great
Barrel is now floated as well
Learned alot and next gun will be alot less messy
Also used the remainder of the bedding kit to fill up the hollow portion of the forearm. Added a little weight isn't a bad thing and also made it more rigid.
Going to the range Thursday to see if there are any improvements.
Dies and bullets ordered

Alright but you have to post pictures of your bedding job so everyone can razz you about it...
