Re: Which 7mm Rem Mag?

Also, don't underestimate the Browning A-Bolt II 7RM with the BOSS on it. I've had 2, and still have 1 of them, they are shooters right out of the box! If you can find a new one, snatch it up...You won't regret it.

Also, the BOSS makes it kick like a .243...You feel virtually nothing.

Re: Which 7mm Rem Mag?

If it's about the budget then the nod has to go to the savage.

If it's about getting the most you can get for the money I'd go for the Sendero; IF and it's a big if you are stuck on buying new.

I happen to know where there's a damned nice Winchester Laredo in 7mm Rem for sale right now which could probably be bought right and that too is an absolutely wonderful out of the box rifle.

My vote would be Browning A-bolt 168 game kings! Mine shoots very well and can hit 8" clangers out at 850 all day..

Re: Which 7mm Rem Mag?

not to hijack your thread, but along the same lines, does it matter which savage action to buy? I see a lot of guys on here go for the stevens 200, i think because they are cheap. But are the savage 116 actions just as good? Im also looking to build a long range hunter in 7mm RM.
