    Great shot at 862yds. The challenge of the distance is worth more than the point count on the antlers. Remind me why you you didn't get a single shot action [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

    Too bad about not finding the bullet. It might be a little gruesome but it would be instructive to see the entrance and exit wounds once the hide is removed if you have any pictures.

    What kind of velocity? How much does the rifle weight?Cool looking rifle.

    Iron Worker:

    These fire form loads push the 200 grain Wildcat at an avg. of 2950 fps. That's a little hotter than Kirby recommended but the Lapua brass doesn't even notice the difference and they are fire forming perfectly. The difference is in components and lot of powder difference. The gun weighs 15# as is, ready to hunt.
