One more pic showing the setup....


I'll take pretty much full credit for the bad wind call. It was essentially blowing in our face and I "assumed" it was blowing right to left down the main part of the canyon. Turns out it was actually blowing across the canyon left to right. We had the proper amount of dope...just in the wrong direction. From where we were laying, it really seemed like it was coming straight down the canyon. However, when we stood up and walked about 20yds toward the deer it was noticeably coming across from left to right.
