500 yard bullet impact

here is what a .22lr looks like when it hits steel at 500 yards. It is alot flatter then i expected it to be

    I have shot a few different brands of ammo at it so im not sure whats what as far as what you see, I shoot mostly Blazers

    Please describe the rig you are getting to 500 with. I would be interested to hear how much up you had in your scope to get that far. JS aka 308

    I am shooting a cz 452 scout with a tasco 2.5x10-42mm scope. I shoot mostly blazer ammo, I crank the scope as much as it will go. then hold about 8 mil high. shooting at a 30inch concrete cutting saw blade.

    There's a very good reason why the flaps on .22 Rimfire ammo are labeled "Dangerous with 1-1/4 miles".
