Cant remember how many grains, but my buddys been working with H1000 and RL-25. Hes been able to achieve 3200fps from his rem 700 w/26" bbl. Accuracy however is better around 3050-3100fps.

What obout groups, does any body getts 1" groups at 200Yards. Just got my 338RUM so i dont have a good load for it, thanks, Dan Jurecic.

My friend is getting 1" groups at 100 yards for his better groups. Rifle is totally stock except for timney trigger. I just dont think hes found the right load yet myself. Either that or his factory rifle is going to be a 1 MOA performer which isn't all that bad, but if your going to be doing any kind of shooting past 500-600 yards, its nice to have a little more accuracy then that, IMO.

.5" groups at 100yrds with previous load

The remmy triggers are actually pretty nice once you get the pull weight adjusted to a reasonable weight. You can find some recipes on the internet or have a smith do it if you aren't comfortable (I wouldn't mess with the sear though). Otherwise, Rifle Basics, Timney, and Jewel are all great replacement triggers.

Skidly i use 100GR of H1000 with 225 AB and my speed is only 3050 feet per second, i,m at the see leval maybi that got something to do with slow speed, what are you using for optics, later, Dan. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
