Thanks for the story, 2 weeks from today i will be in Co. on my first elk hunt. Except im hoping for a 300 yard shot.

WOW!! Hats off to you. A textbook example of how to take game at long range! I though I was doing well shooting a few animals at 600 ys, I've got a bit of learning to do.
