This guy didn't seem to have much of a problem with out of the box Norma 300 Wby brass.

I'd give him a ring, and let him know to look out for that when sizing his once fired brass

Not looking to get into a ******* contest, it's just your statement might lead someone astray.

    Good shooting to you Sir.

My pick would be the .338-378 Wby its be around the block a few times and is still there as a hunting cartridge. Ive loaded for a lot of Weatherby cartridges and found with any of the die sets, just neck size and bump the shoulder a little on a fired case and accuracy is more then acceptable; that is providing youre not sharing rounds with another hunter who has the same rifle cartridge, or sharing with a back up rifle of the same caliber.
Use a {call Lee} Lee factory crimp die due to the heavy recoil on the rounds in the magazine, which also help a little with the bullet, cartridge concentricity.
    Just my 0.2

To clarify my post as the information as it was handed down to me. And how it was put was that when the custom reamer manufacturers grind wby reamers they have to grind the radius into a grinding wheel for both radius's. and generally when there done with that set of reamers the wheels get changed for what ever reamer that they have to do at the time. and when they have to hand grind the radius's into the wheel for each reamer you could see how variances can come into play

and as autorotate mentioned it is a rather fine detail that most people who are loading for them wont ever get to a point where that holds up there accuracy

I think nearly everyone would agree that custom dies for a specific rifles chamber will inevitably help anyone make better ammo.

Certainly it's been proven time and time again that the spectrum of reloading methodolgies can obtain great results though.

Nathan's point on the double radiused shoulders being tough to replicate for the die maker is a valid one. Just my opinion...but that is likely not to be the constraint for most folks attempting to squeeze the last bit of accuracy from the gun/ammo/shooter "system".

Plus it's a Wby...that makes it awesome without even shooting it

BTW-LRH if full of good folks. Here's a civil discussion even after my "sharp" reply above:(

Thanks for sharing that perspective Nathan. It will only serve to help the original poster make a good decision now that he knows the why behind your post.
