With that rifle I would try a heavier bullet. My choices to try first would be the Nosler Accubond 200gr or the Berger 210gr. There are others but these two from experience perform well on game. You should be able to get either to run well with the Nosler probably being the easiest depending on your experience.

Sounds like a capable rifle and scope. everything tight? 300 wthrby would be a lot of kick for me in a sporter without a break. in my brothers and 2 other senderos in 300 rum the 180 accubond had great accuracy. i load 030 off the lands for hunting rifles.and 010 off in my competition 6.5-284. if you are using a 215 primer, try a wlrm or cci 250. for another bullet- 308 cal there are a bunch. the 180 accubond is a good all around bullet . could try a berger or matchking ( i do not use MK for hunting) . depending on if i was shooting deer or elk or what - i would mess powder and primer seating depth before messing with bullets.

Another guy told me to go up slowly in powder and see if you get tighter groups and if they get bigger try going the other way and do primers make that big of difference I do use 215 and then imr 7828
