300 smk- will it fit factory mark 5 accumark 338/378 magazine ?

Can anyone tell me if you can fit the 338/378 round loaded with the 300 smk in a std magazine . I'm concerned that the bullets will be to long, and I don't want to reduce powder to make them fit. I wish to use this high bc bullet to its full long range potential.

Thanks all

Probably not and still be able to seat the bullet near the origins of the rifling.

If you seated them long and used them in the single shot roll you would not have a problem. In long range shooting, you will not be undergunned at all going single shot.
