If no one else jumps in with info, you could check Nosler's site for 280AI load data, but they don't show the 168, just the 160 and 175. You would have to interpolate.

You might try RL17. It could be real good in that case. I would start @ 50 gr with RL17 which should give you about 80% capacity. Or, you could fill a case to the shoulder, dump it and weigh it and go with 80% of that.

Start with this. Remember to always verify internet data and start low and work up to suggested loads.

I should have thought about reloader's nest before.

Here's a nice fast and accurate load with RL17 and the 168...

Unverified load 6362 in caliber .280 Ackley

As mentioned, work up. I would back off about 10% which would make 50 gr a starting load.

You might want to give the 162 gr Hornady Amax a try. I did after I was frustrated with the 168 and 180 Bergers out of my custom 7 SAUM. Good luck.

i'm shooting 180 bergers 2900 fps with of a 1-9 twist shilen barrel with reloder 22. if you have the twist to do it the 100 fps slower is more than made up by the higher bc and weight of the 180.
