Re: 270 wsm and berger bullets???

I use the 140 gr Berger VLD's in my Tikka T3 lite .270 WSM. I've shot a handful of deer with them, one being at 340ish yards double lung shot, cal hole in, 3/4" out. Deer ran 60 yards and piled up.

Even connected on a doe at 35 yards, shoulder shot, lots of blood shot meat, 2 or 3 small shrapnel exit wounds, she went 15 yards, running dead on her feet then face planted.

I hope to get a deer with a bit farther shot with them this fall. With the previous performance I've experienced with them, I would not hesitate to use them out to 700 yards!
