Take a look at the Tikka Lite 270WSM. Not a big fan of the plastic stock but smooth action and very accurate. Sub moa right out of the box with federal fusion 150gn.

try and find an older remington sendero in .270. 26 inch barrel, cant beat the accuracy in a production gun. a little heavier, but great for a deer stand rifle.

Re: 270 Gun Choice (Brand)

I looked for a Sendero in .270....couldnt find one - cuz yes, my Win Mag Sendero is a great rifle. So anyway, ......I ordered the CDL SF today to take advantage of the rebate before Dec 31st. Lots of fine rifles of all makes and models out there, decided to take the plunge today. It will sit in the safe until it warms up a bit (spring) and I can break the barrel in nice and slow

Congrats on your new rifle! The CDL SFs are sweet, I love mine in 260! I'm battling back and forth myself whether to get the 280 LE because of the rebate. Good luck and let us know how it shoots.

Mine is a Steyr Mannlicher Professional Model M in 270 win. Has parkerized metal, synthetic olive drab stock. 60cm{23.6in} barrel. Uses 5 rd detatchable rotary mags., of which I have five. Docter Optic 8x56 scope on Apel QD mounts. Harris swivel bipod. Used it in several practical matches. MOA and better with a number of factory loads in 130 and 150 grain.
