Must have taken a little longer than expected. I see Midway has pushed back their "expected" date from 4-13 to 4-30.

I think they do that just to test my patients

Are these 26 Nosler cases coming of the line in Oregon (sorting) or in Sweden where they are being drawn and headstamped? If they are still in Sweden then it may be awhile before anyone is handloading them. So much for this hunting season.

Well, I just picked up my 3rd Nosler Patriot... this one is chambered in 26 Nosler.
Loaded up a few test loads, some of with Retumbo, and RL 50.
Retumbo was wild, throwing every other shot. As soon as I fired RL50 it immediately focused the group. I settled on 88 grains that, 130 accubond, wlrm, Norma USA brass... @3.330.
Didn't chronograph it yet, but she was .330 in spread average at 100 yards .
I ended up using the optics I had set aside for the AI I have being built... But a damn fine investment ....

    I love it.

Not a hot load but if accurate that counts for lots more.

It's a mid-load in Nosler's load data that was just published.... however, it was showing signs of coming up on pressure, with that and accuracy.... I ceased pushing any harder. Not all the time can you have the fabled speeds and accuracy together. Even if its actual velocity is 3250-3300... Doesn't matter to me. She's just broken in and shooting SOLID.

I just read through 34 pages of posts on this 26 Nosler and I couldn't find it anywhere... did anyone else get more than 400 shots through their rifles before the barrels were burned out?

    Thanks!
