Thanks for the replies guys. I think I will just stick with the standard case. I have a Model 7 that I hope to rebarrel some day.

JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS A BIG GAIN WITH THE .243 OVER A 6MM BRX?

From my understand, very little. You still get a bit more velocity with the 243.

The issue is case capacity and the primer pocket will effect the base web, not the case.... your Lapua brass case capacity is the determining factor due to pressure build-up.
