Any one use this on game out to 1000yrds. Does it expand on deer sized game?

Haven't used it, but if it's the Berger your speaking of, I have no doubt that it will expand. Those J4 jackets are paper thin.

I am using a 300 RUM the Berger 210 VLD performed well on a buck at 975 yards. I did not retrieve the bullets because they passed through the deer. First shot was high in the back near the rear, second shot put him out of his misery.
