Awesome!!! I just started back hunting last year. these pound my "spike" in the ground. What load did your dad use in his 25-06. Killed my deer with one using a 120 bullet.
Good to hear your back into the hunting realm again!Sounds like you got some tasty venison on hand.My Dad shot his whitetail with a Cooper arms custom classic M22 in 25-06 using 115 grn Nosler Partition backed with 53.5 grns of Reloader 22 powder,which yealds about 3,260-3,270 fps from the 26 inch barrel.Anyways this seams to be a really good load.Worked great for him!
