JLKs are unfortunately not performing very well, at least so far. On the two antelopes we shot yesterday, two shots on each, 3 of the rounds penciled through, I believe this is due to the tighter meplat on them vs the Berger, as otherwise they are almost identical. we recovered the bullet from my second shot in the hind quarter, fully intact, after traveling diagonally across the entire animal!
However my first shot just about gutted the lope were he stood.. Was quartering slightly towards me seems to have tumbled or exploded as it blew a 3-4" exit with guts hanging out, also punched the lungs and liver with this shot, killing shot, just exited midsection.
