Re: 160 Accubond and H1000

jonesse91,

Please post your progress with Retumbo here ... I'll be walking this journey with my 7mm Rem Mag in the next month or two and will be using ADI AR2225 powder (which is the same as Retumbo) and the 160 gr Accubonds.

What primers are you using with Retumbo?

Re: 160 Accubond and H1000

I have been doing some work with the 160 NAB and Retumbo, my average velocity at 71.0 grains was 3015.2 from my 26" barrel. The es and sd were a little high but there were no pressure signs in my rifle. I was using W-W cases and Fed. 215 primers accuracy was fair, about moa. I have some 7828 to play with next but I haven't had time yet.

Re: 160 Accubond and H1000

I found a really good load with 69.5grns with a 160 SGK for my brother's 7mmRM. I use Rem brass, F215 for components.

I am using federal GM215M primers. I have loads worked up from 70.5 to 73.0 grains in half grain incriments. I will get to the range this weekend and post results.
