Re: 100yd or 200yd zero?

I had my concerns when this thread started and now that it has come full circle for the OP, I suppose we should get into the real meat and potatoes of this rifle!

We need pics of your rig and a parts list, I have suspicions of what is going on here, I call it the old "SALESMEN"

When you look through the scope, does it make what you are looking at closer, or farhter away? sorry, I couldnt help it?

Why the load testing at 200 yds? I have always done mine at 100 with a chronograph and they have all worked out to be great long range shooters, as well as group sub MOA at 100? Is there something that can happen at between 100 and 200 that I am missing? This is a ligit question, sorry for the earlier poke, I had to!

Its cool I'm pretty thick skinned, some bullets and rifles need the extra 100m to stabilize. I think you have gotten very luck if your 100m load performs the same at 1000m. Not everyone owns a chrono and is knowledgeable enough about them to use is for load work up.

Re: 100yd or 200yd zero?

I will say that if I ever have an issue (which is rare because I practice due dilligence), I shoot a PM to Gary, Broz or Kirby and never post it on site. Never.

Admitting to doing anything off-the-cuff is tantamount to cross examination by a team of lawyers hell bent on extracting the whole truth and nothing but..........

I call it the morons off the street who work at these big-box stores. These idiots don't know jack-squat, but tell people they do, so they get the job. Then they ruin people's gun setups b/c they don't know anything.
