This is one of my STW's. It's actually the original. Ordered it from the Remington custom shop back in the early nineties when you couldn't find a standard factory made 7mm STW anywhere. I'd been a 7mm Rem guy for over twenty years but the allure of the extra velocity bit me hard.




I have kills with it out to 1,350 on deer, coyotes and bobcats to about 1,000. It's got some hard miles on it now but it's still a great rifle and being my first STW has a special place in my heart.

Thanks. I do the camo jobs in the summer when it's too damned hot to do anything else.

WildRose, I loved that pic the first time I saw it, and it hasn't gotten old. Love the finish on the rifle, and the cat too! Nice job on both. Cheers!

Good lookin 270 STW. I haven't seen one of those in person. Bet it's slingin them pretty fast! What's your fps?
