Every barrel is different. You just have to experiment to see what what it likes, and what it doesn't.

1:8.5 - up to 200
1:9 - up to 180
1:10 - up to 160
1:11 - up to 140
Thanks for the help.

Why don't you look in this thread?

7mm STW Reloading Thread

Here's a 140 grain Nosler Accubond three shot group at 100 yards (with fouler) out of one of my Remington 700 Sendero SF 7mm STWs with H1000 and Fed215.

Velocity was 3,480 fps.

I tried 168 Accubond LR and had okay results with my Remington 700 Sendero SF 7mm STWs:

H1000 and Fed215.

But my twin Remington 700 Sendero SF 7mm STWs did better with the Matrix .284 168 grain VLDs.

.284 Caliber Bullets Custom Built for Accuracy | Matrix Ballistics

I used Remington brass, Fed 215 primers and H1000 powder for this bullet too.

Here is a three shot group @ 300 yards with the Matrix .284 168 grain VLDs out of one my twin Remington 700 Sendero SF 7mm STWs.

The velocity was 3,192 fps and the group was .729" which is a .243 MOA.

Re: 7mm STW Brotherhood - For those who shoot the 7mm Shooting Times Westerner

After 500 pages and thousands of posts - Im just going to ask instead of reading it all. I am looking for a 190 Matrix 7mmSTW load. Anybody had any experience with them? OAL issues?

I have used the 165's in 270 out to 300 on pigs and the bullets work very well. They are very accurate also.

I thought I would get ready- just incase Berger does finish production on the 7mm 195s!

Why don't you work up your own load for it. That way you know what's max in your gun.
