Good for you Aaron! I'm glad to see you guys bring a great product to market that's priced in the realm of reality for us! Put me down for one.

How far will it consistently range animals under all conditions?

Same kind of guestion, are you going to have some kind of field review, here or at gseven. An I am sure we will see it used on LRPursuit, as I noticed it used on BOTW.

Re: G7 BR2 (Ballistic Rangefinder 2000) rangefinder video intro
I hope, REALLY HOPE, it performs as advertised but I will remain very sceptical until its in the hands of actual customers and proving itself. We have all heard these claims before and as of yet, no one has met the claims they advertise to us.
If all holds true with what we can expect judging from past long range rangefinders, we can expect to see this unit reach 50 to possibly 75% of its advertised range on soft targets such which is what we hunt. That would mean 1000 to 1500 yard reach which would be great but no better then what is already out there from Leica and Swaro.
The added features are also very promising such as the ballistic calulator but I am a firm believer in the K.I.S.S. way of thinking. I hope I am proven wrong, it would be long over due for us to get a product that actually preforms as advertised. I hope Aaron has this product for us, for the price they are quoting it would be a great investment but time will tell.
I have used some 4000 yard rangefinders that cost right at $4000 and on hard targets they would come damn close to their claims but on soft targets, my $900 Swari performed as well or better.
Again, not hammering Aaron, I hope his RF does what its supposed to or is said to do, if it does, I will likely have one in my war bag during hunting season but this has yet to be proven that it does what its said to do.
HOPE IT DOES!!!

Just thinking out loud, and maybe I'm wrong. Having a painted turret and then having a rangefinder that will make corrections to it, and now having a ballistic program that makes corrections to the turret, just seems more complicated than just putting the correct MOA into your scope.

Re: G7 BR2 (Ballistic Rangefinder 2000) rangefinder video intro
From what I'm gathering, correct me if I'm wrong, but I need a ballistic turret to make use of this product? Seems to me that if my NF doesnt have thier turret, then it's useless to those of that dial for distance in MOA?
Put an MOA correction on that dude's read out, and I'll buy one.
