Milk Jug at 1820 yards 338 edge

Here is a little playing I did today after shooting some other guns. I was using my 338 edge with 300 bergers and nightforce g7 scope and rangefinder.

Re: Milk Jug at 1820 yards 338 edge

I guess it cannot be seen to good. It took me 6 shots to hit the one milk jug.
1st shot was 4-6" left
2nd was right at the top but a miss ,
3rd high
4th underneath
5th underneath and 10-12" right
6th Hit and rolls.

Then move about 3 feet down and 10 feet left to other jug
1st over top
2nd level and right.

I have not put this away yet, I only had 8 shells. 6 in my stock protector and two in my wyatts.

Looks to me if you could handle that camera as well as you handle your rifle you could make some real nice ELR Videos... You must have good eyes because I know at that range I wouldn't be able to even see them milk jugs with my scope on 22x. Nice shooting ......Dave

Thanks Dave.

I am trying to get a really good telephoto lens for this camera so that it will pick up the hits better for the computer. All it takes is money, oh and then more money for the next step. Talk to you soon.

There is no telephoto lens for your camera at any price that will show what you want it to at that range...Even $50k cameras are not going to make clear nice video of milk jugs exploding at 1800 yards. You would have to use 2-3 cameras to capture enough video from your shoot position and the target hits. Editing would be required to splice it all together to make it pleasing to watch. My Cams aren't HD but if you ever want to make one using more Cams let me know and I will help you..... Dave

Dave, I did buy a doubler and will see. My hopes are low for it but worth a shot. I would be interested in doing some video. I know you have time and I do as well. Maybe we can even get some coyotes or something.
