I was curious about your butt plate on Eleanor, is it adjustable vertically? If so, who makes it?

I was also there for the 2008 IBS Nationals. In fact, that's when I shot the 3.806" group at the Mile with this same rifle. There was a severe storm go through that area last year, and it took the canopy right off the ground. Tom never got around to replacing it as there were some insurance problems...

The recoil pad system is only adjustable for length of pull. It's the standard McMillan system.

Joel; I'am new here and to the long range shooting. good shooting on your group. I have been looking at the chey tac case as along range rifle, Where should i look to have one built? You said in your write up that the shooters had problems geting on target and even the 300 and 340 boolits. what do you mean by that ? also is there a reason why your group is off the the left side of the target?mtnman

Some of the shooters had a difficult time getting all 5 shots on paper due to the unpleasant conditions we had.

My son also asked me why I didn't hit the center of the target

My last sighter shot was in close proximity to the center of the 17" sighter gong. From there, I made a small correction, then went on the record target. Between the time it took me to make that correction, and shoot the first record shot, the conditions changed slightly, which shifted my group to the left of center. Fortunately, the condition was somwhat constant for all five shots.
