I have the same question, what are you talking about? I read the story and saw nothing wrong with it. Maybe there's something left unspoken and if that's the case...let it not be said.
By the way, great shooting and congrats on the bull!

Wonderful story! You had me almost yelling at the computer when you mentioned the other hunters cutting on hide, thought you may have to do some short range shooting!

I would imagine that shooting elk at 1480y would be pretty east after you've killed a few dragons in your time

That is a great comparison. The whole time on that trip I told him we were never going to see an elk with that ridiculous handle bar mustache. Guess he proved other wise. Next time I see him I will call him the dragon slayer!! HA
